Influence of music on plants

My adventure around electroculture actually started well before 2008, it was in 1998. At that time, being a student to become an engineer in agronomy at the university of Ghent, I decided to do an end of thesis. studies on the influence of music on plants. In order for it to be accepted by the academic management, the title became “influence of variable sound frequencies on the growth and development of plants”. It is from there that I dug the subject around the influence of waves on plants, first sound waves and then over time that led me to much more towards electroculture.

What is electroculture?

Electroculture is a generic term which also encompasses other names such as magnetoculture, electrohorticulture, electro-agriculture, cosmo electroculture, cosmotelluric agriculture, cosmiculture, magnaculture …
The story of the discovery of electroculture goes hand in hand with the history of the discovery of electricity. However, certain electroculture techniques have already existed since long before the official discovery of what is now called electricity.
Electroculture, comes from the assembly of the word electro and culture.
Electro comes from the word “electrum” which means amber.
Amber is fossilized resin from trees, which can be found as stones on beaches in northern countries such as Denmark or Sweden for example. Amber is known for these “electrical” properties. Thus electricity would have been discovered by rubbing the amber. The amber is thus charged by friction of static electricity. Thus the phenomenon of static electricity would have been discovered.
Amber thus electrified can repel or attract hair depending on the electrical charges. Afterwards the researchers were able to charge devices with this mysterious energy called electricity. They discovered that when they pointed two electrodes connected with this mysterious energy on a muscle, that the muscle contracted. So researchers quickly interpreted the phenomenon as if they had discovered the essence of life.
Because electricity made it possible to give new life to the muscle. So at the start of its discovery, electricity was seen as the essence of life.
When we also know that the word culture means to honor.
So I like to think that the word “electroculture” comes close to saying “honoring life”.
When we say honoring life, as I like to think of it by saying “electroculture”, then a lot of techniques different from each other but always respectful of nature, of life can be found there. It means more than what we usually think of when we say “electricity”. The phenomenon of electricity is not yet fully understood and still hides many puzzles from science. This is how, for example, scientists recently discovered the phenomenon of torsion waves found in magnetic fields. These torsion fields can be very beneficial or harmful to life depending on these characteristics, frequencies and polarities. Electricity is therefore a very complex phenomenon which does not has not finished surprising us.

Each aspect of electricity can thus create great differences in effects on biological life. These effects can be positive in some cases and negative in others.
When we talk about electricity we must also take into account the magnetic field. There is always a magnetic field associated with an electric current and vice versa, the two phenomena are inseparable and simultaneous.
Taking into account all these parameters electricity becomes something very very complex. Here we will focus more specifically on these beneficial influences on plants and soil life.

It is rare to see such interesting articles in France.This photo shows a lightning rod antenna called the Beckensteiner Geomagnetifer. Brother Paulin, Father Bertolon and Lieutenant Basty built similar antenna systems before 1911.After that came the agronomist, industrialist and genius inventor Justin Christofleauwhich greatly improved electroculture techniques to make practical applications for farmers. Thus these inventions were able to be distributed and be useful to thousands of customers around the world, as far as China, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
On the photo we also observe an antenna invented by Christofleau. This antenna, still of the lightning rod type, moves with a metallic point towards the south to capture “telluric” currents. After the 1930s, the antenna evolved into a device which mainly retained this aspect of capturing telluric currents by a heavy piece of metal, steel or cast iron, accompanied by copper and zinc that it connected to wires placed north-south.
In 1940 the inventor Couillaud observed that a simple magnet oriented north south connected to a wire also placed north south allows the antenna effect and remarkable results.
In the 1940s, Georges Lakhovsky, Stanislas Bignand and Marcel Violet, each on his side, demonstrated the significant effects of beeswax or simple antennas on the quality of electricity to energize plants and water. . They experiment on seeds, plants, harvests increase sharply, then they experiment on human health, several hospitals have the most important results on all kinds of diseases sometimes reputed to be the most incurable.

T oday in 2013 Yannick invents the cylindrical magnetic antenna system coated with energized and informed beeswax to connectwith galvanized wire always oriented north south on the ground. The results are still impressive.
A new boom in electroculture is underway. The results are impressive and arouse a lot of curiosity and vocations, especially among young people aspiring to farming.
New electroculture techniques are emerging all over the world.
However, the word electroculture does not yet appear in the dictionary, it has been deleted there, very probably under pressure from propaganda and censorship by governments and agrochemical lobbies of which Christofleau had already been victims since the 1930s.
To respond to general enthusiasm and thirst for learning, Yannick Van Doorne has developed a series of internships, conferences and courses to learn the foundations of electroculture, history, practical applications, share our knowledge, and disseminate news promising research in the field. In one year, from summer 2012 to summer 2013, more than 500 people, sometimes from all over the world, were able to participate. The first results of the participants who are shared with us are heartwarming. All this confirms the general interest in the subject and that it is not a curiosity, but that electroculture responds effectively by solutions to concrete problems in our society and agriculture in general.
There is still a long way to go to get electroculture out of ignorance. The motivation and enthusiasm is there and it is a holy fire that nothing can stop. Electroculture honors life, nature, and life will always be stronger.

in the field of electroculture

In today’s modern times, where official research is highly classified and codified, there is also a great deal of scientific research on the effects of electricity, waves or magnetism on the development of plants.
This research, however, working in the field of electroculture rarely uses the term electroculture.
Why is the term electroculture so seldom used?
They probably avoid using this term so as not to be amalgamated with all the censorship and propaganda that there has been against electroculture in history, and thus risk losing their financial support, which is essential to continue their work. research.
Notoriety and reputation are pretty sacred things in scientific research, which generally prevents researchers from taking risks in exploring new avenues that are less “rewarding” by their peers. Isn’t it paradoxical, of the research that remains on the old to perpetually rewrite the same things to please their sources of credit.

So why is it not more known among us and used in our farming and gardening practices. This is yet another question about how our society works. There is often still a whole world between theory and practice.
We observe that the field of electroculture is very wide to which we could devote years of research, learning and discovery.

Marcel Violet. Pioneer in the bio-energization of water

Marcel Violet was based on the research of Stanislas Bignand, a geobiologist who had developed a similar system with a little electronics and beeswax to energize water and heal sick people.
These devices would have cured hundreds of patients and cancer patients in several hospitals in France successfully.

Electroculture: A method of the future?

Here is a first article with Philip Forrer from the year 2000, which summarizes well the electroculture of passive systems such as the lightning rod antenna which bring remarkable results. Several articles have also appeared with him in an alternative Dutch magazine, Bres in the past, well illustrated and explained.
